We cordially  invite you to the International Symposium Vegetables Production and Quality and Process Standardization in Chain: a Worldwide Perspective (Vege2008Beijing), October 14-17, 2008, Beijing, China. The symposium is organized by National Engineering Research Center for Vegetables (China) (NERCV) and Beijing Society for Vegetable Science under the aegis of ISHS.

The ancient city of Beijing carries a wealth of cultural history. Thanks to government protection measures and scientific support, the capital continues to preserve its historical relics as a monument to Chinese pride. The Great Wall, the Summer Palace, the Forbidden City, the Ming tomes and the Temple of Heaven are all World Cultural Heritage. Hutong, Yonghegong Lamasery, Temple of Sun Park, Beihai Park and etc. are full of charming. 2008 is an Olympic year for Beijing. National Stadium “Bird’s Nest” and National Aquatics Center “Water Cube” are new masterpieces.
